Photo of Back in Brownville
Back in Brownville

With their day almost complete, NB Southern Extra 9803 West brings the FRA test train across the Pleasant River and into the yard at Brownville Jct. ME. The crew has covered a lot of territory, about 210 miles round trip, in one day.

The MM&A was supposed to take the test car to Squa Pan the next day, but I don't think it ever left the yard. I heard an unconfirmed report that DOTX 217 had some sort of mechanical problems, and the testing was postponed.
