Foliage season. In early December, if the rain levels have been just right, Southern California, can have a foliage season. With a huge variety of plant life, there is always something in bloom year round. So, its doubtful that anyone but a former Yankee would notice. Photographed by Ken Patton, December 1, 2013. Visitor Comments about this Photo:Looks great Ken. I'm an old Canadian boy, grew up in New England and I did miss the Autumn in New England. I was stationed, (Seabee), at Port Hueneme, would have liked to see something like this in those days. Posted by Bruce Macdonald on 2020-10-21 10:29:34
