This is a shot of the west end of the San Bernardino BNSF yard. This shot was taken from the Metrolink train as it was on the flyover going into San Bernardino. Just a few miles north of the San Bernardino yard is Cajon Pass which is one of my favorite places to shoot trains at when I take my Southern California vacation. Unfortunately, 2013 will be the first year since 2007 that I wont be able to make my yearly trip to Southern California which I normally take in the spring due to not being able to afford it with the high cost of everything these days.
