Great one, Ken. Forgot that these electrics wore this orange/black scheme before they went to black/orange.

What a fantastic photo! It's interesting that only 309's pantograph is in use as 305 gets its juice via the bus bar. I've read that this was the way the Virginian used these locomotives but ultimately Penn Central removed the bus bar requiring each unit to use its own pan. This photo would make a fine book cover!
