Bristol Local

NYNH&H's S-1 No. 0932 is hauling at least eight cars on its return journey from Bristol, R.I. in 1952. The train departed Bristol, about 11 miles to the south, passed through East Side Tunnel to get to Union Station in Providence, and in a few minutes will go into a siding west of the station. The crew will run the engine around, then head northward on the main line for Northup Avenue Yard, just three miles away, and tie up. The crew will be back the next day to start all over. Ca. 1952.
