Flying Yankee, Clematis Brook, Westbound, Circa 1946

Taken by my mother, Polly Clark, from a window of the George W. Moore Screw Machine Co., Clematis Brook, Waltham, Mass. She told me she took this right after the war (WWII). #6000 is heading towards Fitchburg on the Fitchburg Division. The track to the Shell tank farm and the Fernald School is in the background.

Photographed by Polly Clark Gebhardt, From The Collection Of Wayne Gebhardt, 1946.
Added to the photo archive by Wayne Gebhardt, February 1, 2003.
Railroad: Boston & Maine.
