Photo of East Alburgh, Vermont.
East Alburgh, Vermont.

Minutes earlier, Amtrak train 60 just sort of materialized, drifting across Missisquoi Bay, wreathed in mist and silvery sunlight. (That event, however, lent itself better to poetry than photography.) Having rounded the corner, the Montrealer is now free to throttle out and make a more serious run for the border and beyond.

So very very BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! A nice counterpoint to looking at today’s Amtrak offerings- indeed. A coke can lying on its side??? Are you kidding me?
