Photo of Hancock, NH
Hancock, NH

Here is the former passenger station in Hancock, NH. It's still in decent shape after all these years. The ROW to the right still had a pile of rails beside it. This line was a B&M branch from Elmwood, NH (Just south of Bennington) to Keene, NH. Floods from the hurricane of 1938 washed out the line and it was abandoned in 1939. South of here (to Keene) was already abandoned in 1938 after a landslide in 1934 crushed the line and some bridges making the line not worth repairing.
