"The Switch is On" ! With one SW1500, NEGS 2555 that recently departed "These NH Rails" for inspection by new owner Vermont Railway in Burlington VT, here was new switcher is that was being taken to its' new owner Plymouth & Lincoln RR.

PLLX 105 was former New Orleans Public Belt Railway 105, then 1001. This SW1000 arrived at the Hobo Shops in Lincoln on Friday afternoon 9/4. Pan Am's Nashua Crews brought PLLX 105 to Concord for interchange with NEGS. NEGS brought 105 up to Lochmere, and the P&L Crews took it from there onto their home rails first to Meredith, then to Lincoln.

PLLX 105 was purchased new by NOPB in 1971, and will undergo evaluation and testing in Lincoln.

Here was Pan Am's NA-1 Crew late Tuesday afternoon setting off empty hoppers from Merrimack in Manchester Yard.
