BNSF eb charges past Santa Fe's Kingman AZ station

The Santa Fe opened the Kingman depot in 1907 and, although it doesn't look it, the building is still in use by Amtrak for its daily Southwest Chief trains. Kingman was the 3rd busiest of Amtrak's Arizona stations in 2010 with 28 boardings/detrainings. Las Vegas is 107 miles away by Amtrak Thruway motorcoach. One last factoid: the depot is located on E Andy Devine Ave, named for the movie star who spent his youth in Kingman.

The depot is looking a bit better than that these days. Along with Amtrak at the west end, the rest of the building is an RR museum, with several different model train layouts and other artifacts on display. Worth the visit if you're passing through town.
