Amazing Recovery on Sunday Morning

C&O 614 was back in the lead on the Sunday morning after it had been set out with with problems somewhere between its left cylinder and the drivers. This is the end of double track on the old Erie Graham Line west of Newburgh Jct, approximately behind Woodbury Commons shopping mall. Notice that there are 2 EMD fuel tanks apparent behind the 614. It was not providing the power this day. Given its condition late the previous afternoon at Campbell Hall, its making the trip at all the next day was a real testament to the skill of the team Ross Rowland assembled to keep this locomotive running.
