Final Equipment Move North for 2019

PLL 1590 brought up the rear, and was used as a helper to push this 5 car train up and over Ashland Summit between the former Winona Station and Ashland Station while PLL 1012 was on the point. In between the locomotives were two of the PLL's non-powered former Reading / MBTA Budd RDC-1's (9151 & 9159), two former Pullman (EL & DL&W) coaches, converted into dining cars, and 1 privately owned and operable Budd RDC-1, NH 41 that reached the final intended destination of Lincoln NH which originated from the Railroad Museum of New England in Thomaston CT.

This photo was taken just north of the former Winona Station by the Winona Road bridge in New Hampton NH on a gloomy October 29th.

PLL 1590 is a 1000hp SW1001, and was owned by CIT Leasing, Norfolk Southern, Conrail, and the Reading RR,
