CSX AC60 & MBTA GP40MC

Sometime shortly after the turn of the century, a pair of adolescent CSX AC60s and a rejuvenated MBTA GP40MC senior citizen pause at the newly opened T station at Framingham. The five-ish year old AC60s likely powered the daily Selkirk to Framingham freight, dropping it at Nevens Yard and then proceeding to tie-down on the so-called Station Track (ie the ex-NH Lowell Branch track) adjacent to the station. The 25+yr old ex-CN GP40-2LW, rebuilt for the T in 1997, is preparing to push its passengers to South Station on this sunny winter day.
