newcomer in South Boston

On a rainy day four months after the Penn Central takeover, former New York Central SW1 8416 rests outside the roundhouse at the ex-NH Dover Street yard in South Boston. This little engine was probably assigned to switching duty at South Station since otherwise SW1s were uncommon on the NH side of town.

I remember this switcher. There was something scribbled in the lower right corner of the switcher... If i remember right it said "Black Orr 1569" I used to see it a lot in the Spring of 69 at South Station doing it's chores.
