The former R&S railroad grade (exBR&P) under Rt 98 near Freedom, NY. I'm standing on the Rt 98 overpass.

Up ahead is Crystal Lake, then Freedom (the station still stands) and eventually Silver Springs Jct.

Rt. 98 is on the former railroad of the Buffalo & Susquehanna Buffalo extension. The B&S was abandoned through here in 1917.

Also through here is the narrow gauge Tonawanda Valley & Cuba RR. They had a bridge over the BR&P. The line was torn up in 1894.
