A Remnant - Northampton, MA

A stone arch bridge over a local road in the north portion of Northampton, Mass., stands as a reminder of the former Northampton-Williamsburg, Mass., branch of the NYNH&HRR. The track was removed by Penn Central around 1971 and several portions of the old ROW are now a rail trail.

Photographed by John Bazan, April 29, 2010.
