An empty Mount Tom coal train rolls northbound through Northampton, Mass., during the late- afternoon "sweet light" hours on Wednesday, March 24. Oftentimes the train returns with empty cars during the noon hours under horrible lighting conditions; However today's later than usual return was a perfect catch. This was the first time I ever got a photo of a train on the Conn. River Line. The train is powered by P&W 2010, P&W 3909, and PAR (MEC) 381.
