After the unloading of ex-Acadia "Maroon Hills" Vista Dome (former MP 891, built 1948) at Delaware & Ulster RR, Arkville, NY, she would be prepped and enter service that very weekend for an inaugural run to Roxbury, NY.

I was fortunate enough to be one of the few to take seating in the dome with my family (out of pic on right) on this historic occasion.
