Here's another shot of the former Maine Central depot in Ellsworth, Maine, about 30 miles downeast from Bangor. The State of Maine purchased this line from Guilford after freight service ended, and numerous proposals have been entertained for reopening it, but still nothing. The only users are the occasional speeder tours and, in the winter, snowmobiles.
