50 Track - Cars 108 MilesA New England tradition for 16 years, The Annual Hobo Railroad trackcar weekend prepares to leave Lincoln, NH at 8:30 am on 06/05/2004. This day they traveled to Weirs Beach for a lunch stop on the boardwalk and then returned to Lincoln at 4:30 PM. Two Tom's went with the group on a "Speeder". This was absolutely the finest day for weather that I can remember in its history.
Furthest participant was California man who had been attending events across the country. After they left town the Hobo Railroad local ran their normal 11:00 and 1:00 scenic train. Who says that railroads are anti railfan? Sundays trip started at Tilton and approached Weirs Beach from the South.
Special thanks to Hobo's Ben Clark for allowing this annual event at the railroad.
Yes, the Amtrak cars are for sale.
