After waiting for about an hour or so, and the passage of three actual revenue trains to pass, I got my first look at a Big Boy underway on the point of a sizable train! The crowd along PA route 333 had swelled to probably well over 100 or so - serious railfans, for sure, but a large proportion of trackside observers were just families and many older folks who remembered the end of steam on the PRR.
