Looking in on B&M 4265 in Gorham NHThe three surviving former B&M F7As live on within 25 miles of each other. Two B&M F7As are owned by the 470 Club, 4266 & 4268, are both operable and meticulously kept at the Conway Scenic RR.
B&M 4265 lives on static display, stuffed and mounted, at the Gorham Historical Society just up Route 16. 4265 was moved to this location in the summer of 1999, and was built new for the B&M in 1949.
Even in its decaying appearance, the 4265 is still a sight to see. FWIU, 4265's prime mover and traction motors have long since been removed. Not sure what the plans were for 4265, but there is a set of stairs built that connects to the rear door.
The tracks to the left are G&W's active St. Lawrence and Atlantic line. The steeple is atop the Gorham Town Hall, while the preserved former Grand Trunk passenger station is home to the Gorham Historical Society and Railroad Museum.
