From 2/28/2026, here was the Conway Scenic Railroad's Winter Mountaineer heading west through Crawford Station to Fabyan Station with the GP9 leading long hood forward.

The consist had 4 coaches, 1 dome car, and CRSX 216 (GP35) on the east end. Having an engine on each end makes it easy on the Crews with no switches that need to be handled. With all the snow these past few months, certainly a good thing.

We're 85 miles from Portland, 46 miles to St Johnsbury.
