MEC 5972s by the Perini Siding in Bow

The snow on the trees can make any picture look great. Here was the L066 Crew backing MEC 5972 north. With no inbound loads, the Crew would be grabbing empties along the way from Bow & Concord clients.

This is the Perini Siding in Bow, once the home where coal train power was stored, today serves as storage for loaded Ciment Quebec cars. In the Spring of 2024, CSX installed a switch at the north end of the Perini siding, eliminating the need to take the inbound loaded Ciment Quebec cars to Concord to runaround and shove them in from the south end.

This B40-8 has become a common sighting on the Nashua Subdivision and Hillsboro Branch.
