We're standing on the former Boston & Maine mainline looking towards Whitefield, Littleton, and Woodsville NH. The gravel rail-trail veers left, taking what would have been the leg of the wye connecting to the Maine Central line to Quebec Jct and the Mountain Division. A grassy trail veering straight/right is the former B&M line.
