2-8-2 #40 (ALCO/1920) had the honors of pulling the railroad's excursion trains during the month of July. #3025 and #40 generally alternate each month, but that is subject to change. At Christmastime, all 3 Valley steamers (40, 3025, and 97) are in operation for the railroad's very popular North Pole Express trains.
