Photo of Saugatuck Bridge
Saugatuck Bridge

No... I'm not trespassing! There is a public walkway along the south side of the Saugatuck River Bridge in Westport allowing residents to cross from one side of the river to the other. And, to allow some train watching from a unique perspective. No trains came by when I was on the bridge, however.

Is this the famous bridge where the train pantograph has to leap across since there is no continuous physical wire?

I don't believe it has wires on the center section. I believe Cos Cob bridge is the same way.
