Photo of ED-5 BERX 3030 & 3027
ED-5 BERX 3030 & 3027

Here was Berkshire & Eastern's ED-5 Crew wrapping up the day in East Deerfield and putting their power away for the night.

BERX 3027 is the former MEC 502, and the 3030 came from G&Ws Goderich & Exeter Railway in Ontario. This was a matched pair, as the 3030 was the former CN 9431 and 3027 was the former CN 9432.

The ED-5 Crew came into the yard from the west, not long after B100 passed through heading east, then they cleared the main, so B101 could pass through the yard and heading west. Once B101 cleared out, it was time to put the power away for the evening.

Lots of G&W orange, yellow, and black around ED yard. Last time through it was still Pan Am blue & former CSX worn painted Dash 8's, so it's been a while.

Berkshire & Eastern operates Pan Am Southern, co-owned by CSX and Norfolk Southern.
