CSX Worcester Main clearance work Lincoln St tunnel south portal

View north from School St Worcester: Work progresses on undercutting the CSX-used P&W track to attain double stack clearance for NS Chicago-Ayer intermodal trains. Looks like new concrete pad is ~1 foot lower than track to P&W yard on the left. Clearance work is to wrap up in May and P&W will remain owner of both tracks with CSX/NS retaining trackage rights on the lowered track.
