L066 MEC 5976 @ Ferry Road in Bow

At one time, there was a lot more happening at the Ferry Road crossing in Bow with the chance of seeing coal train power, or the Nashua local tied down in between crew changes was good.

There have not been any inbound loaded coal in several years, and the chance of seeing the Nashua local tied down here these days, are very slim to none.

Here was the L066 Crew taking the 4000hp, May 1988 built former Conrail, Norfolk Southern, and CSX Dash 8-40B, MEC 5976 north to Bow with two loads for Bow Blue Seal.

So far in 2025, it's been all GE B40-8 power for the Nashua Crews.
