A warm mid January afternoon finds CSX's L066 returning south with MEC 5958 and a short train on the Nashua Subdivision, about to pass the old B&M depot in Merrimack, NH. Albeit the well lit portion of their trip often being long hood forward, in the midst of rumors of the remaining MEC lettered part of CSX's fleet being retired soon likely due to lacking the necessary PTC requirements, I figured I might as well do some exploring on the one part of the former Pan Am system I have zero coverage of, and a Pan Am blue locomotive on the job made it an easy choice.
