Photo of Classic CSX Power on the MEC at Winthrop
Classic CSX Power on the MEC at Winthrop

With the first two units looking like a lashup from Florida in the early 2000's, U070 makes its trip east on the Waterville Subdivision through Winthrop, Maine on a rare late day run.

While by far not the division with the highest traffic volume on the CSX system, the New England Division has become the place to find some of CSX's most unique motive power left on their roster, as well as the remaining Pan Am painted locomotives for some variety, kept mostly east of Portland with a few exceptions.

Full lineup, CSXT 9280 - CSXT 9025 - MEC 515 - MEC 506 - MEC 7605
