A sight to be gone forever

The eastbound searchlight signals at CP (Plaistow) in Plaistow NH were lit as Amtrak 685 was still in the block east of there. The green signal was for L080-13 that I would catch about 10 mins or so after I took this shot. Unfortunately these signals won't be standing much longer as CSX has installed new ones at various spots along the Portland Subdivision.

Visitor Comments about this Photo:

Nice shot. It is sad to see the old signals replaced but that’s progress. There are still old signals in district 3 that will be replaced in the future, so photograph them while you can.
