Sunday Extra West at Kingston Station

In addition to the usual 7 trains in an hour on Sunday mornings Amtrak will occasionally send an extra west in the slot behind regional train 161. Usually the extra passes through at track speed, making it hard to get good photos on Kingston's straight track if one has no idea it is coming. Luckily on July 14th the Extra 646 West stopped at Kingston, perhaps to pick up or drop off deadheading employees. This made photography exceptionally easy, as seen here as it eases to its stop.
