L066 MEC 5948 in Concord..

With the new north switch on the Perini Siding in Bow along with twice weekly service to Bow & Concord, runarounds in Concord are basically one trip around, and they're south out of town.

Gone, for now, are the days of seeing the L066 / NA-1 Crews arrive in Concord with 25+ cars, and staging multiple time consuming runarounds. Here was the L066 Crew with 5 empties to runaround as they passed behind the Market Basket in Concord. Something different to see than the highly visible Market Basket trailer behind the orange trailer.

MEC 5948 has been the current road power for the Nashua Crews for a good while now.. Probably the longest time, so far, a GE B40-8 has been assigned to "These New Hampshire Rails".
