After toiling for Steamtown hauling excursions up and down the Poconos for 25 years, CNR 3254 was retired at the end of 2012 due to its poor health. It is currently on static display at Steamtown, whose only operating steam locomotive is diminutive BLW 0-6-0 shop switcher #26.
