Seems like they are making a more concerted effort at running this train on a much more consistent "schedule" again after probably almost scaring off all of the business.

I think you may be right, it’s been running about the same time every day.

They have been pretty consistent leaving Ayer around by around 1100 each weekday.

Make that more like 1130 after the preceding westbound MBTA job. They come out to the wye for a while then shove back in again, presumably to pick up the rest of their train before they finally leave town.
