New York & Lake Erie RR: Dayton Jct, NY

On October 8, 1985, I rode a day long excursion with my grandparents on the New York & Lake Erie RR. #1013 pulled the train from Gowanda to South Dayton. Back to Dayton Jct. and then down the Salamanca branch to Cattaraugus.

The Dayton station. There are crossbucks in the distance for the Rt 62 crossing. The crossing has been removed. The tracks from here to Dunkirk were removed in the late 1970s.
