DL&W Station at Scranton - 1970 - 3The front of the Lackawanna's stately 1908 built Scranton station. In 1942, the station handled about 12 daily trains such sa the Lackawanna Ltd (one day to be renamed the Phoebe Snow), the Pocono Express, the Westerner, the Chicagoan to name a few. Fortunately the station still stands in excellent shape as the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel.
