The last Needham Heights-Boston morning rush coach train at the time was a turnaround originating in Boston. Power was whatever was easily available, which provided quite a variety to shoot at Birds Hill station. At the end of the month, Old Colony service would end, reshuffling commuter equipment. This train would thus become a string of RDCs.
