N&W 611 Eastbound at Blackstone, VA

N&W 611 (4-8-4 - Class J) leads an eastbound VA Museum of Transportation excursion east out of Blackstone, VA as the burst of dark smoke frames the local water tower. Trip this day was from Lynchburg to Petersburg and return on the same former N&W mainline where the 611 had worked through the decade of the 1950's before its 1960 retirement.
