I used to be somebody!

Back in 1968 I was delivered to the Pennsy as # 804 wearing a bright red keystone and by 1969 I was hustling people up and down Penn Central's Northeast Corridor between New York and Washington at speeds up to 120mph. PC track was a bit rough but at speed I could suck windows out of adjacent MP54 cars! But I and my colleagues weren't reliable and by1981 the fun was over as AEM7s and Amfleet operated all the Metroliner service. And by 1989 my propulsion was removed reducing me to cab car service on lesser shuttle trains. I spent some time on the Springfield-New Haven shuttles and under the wires again in Keystone service. I'm still kicking!
