Erie Lackawanna Pigs Westbound Thru Chemung, NY

EL 2522 and a fellow EL U25B lead a westbound EL piggyback train about to pass MP 260 on the old Erie mainline and immediately after the former Erie depot at Chemung, NY.
I well remember the passage of this train. I was standing under the eaves of the old depot on the inside of the super elevated curve. The rocking piggyback vans on the EL's less-than-stellar track provided a bit of terror that has stayed with me for about 55 years. Railfanning was not fun again until the train cleared the depot and continued west
Incidentally neither Google street view nor aerial view show the Chemung depot to exist today. I am not aware that it was ever knocked down by a train failing to pass safely.
