CR 1968 (B23-7) prepares to head west from the small yard east of Amsterdam, NY to tie up for the night west of the Quist Rd crossing. At the time I believe Conrail was still servicing a branch which originated at the far end of this yard an headed northwest uphill to reach several factory districts in Amsterdam well above the Mohawk River.
