AMTK F40's Pass the Pond in West Kingston, RIAMTK 258 and a fellow F40PH, illegible due to the grain in this old negative, lead a westbound train pass the pond by the tracks less than a miles west of Kingston Station (and a short walk from the future location of Liberty interlocking). The pond was high, frozen, and far more free of vegetation both along the tracks and in the water than it is today.
