A couple of weeks into the Conrail era, this trio of power sits in Oneonta, NY. The D&H just about doubled in size and bought new engines, used engines from other road taken into Conrail and was awarded units and leased others to try and handle everything. Here freshly painted, brand new EMD GP39-2 and rebuilt Alco RS3u bracket Alco C628.
