AY-1 in Littleton

AY-1 MEC 5972 heads back West to Ayer after switching Injection Molding Enterprises (i.e. Patriot Beverage) off the Fitchburg Route in Littleton, MA. This is the only customer on the Keolis/MBTA section of the Fitchburg Route Mainline between Boston and Littleton and this move brought 4 loads to the customer with 2 empties coming out. Just East of this location is a small runaround track referred to as the "Quarantine Siding" which was used by the local to get around their empties. Behind the train is the former Boston & Maine Littleton Depot which includes a few boxcars, a caboose and even the former crossing shady for King St.

Nice capture Wayne. We don’t see many photos of this station.
