Hot Santa Fe Pig Train Climbing Cajon Pass at Lugo, CA

ATSF 108 (GP60M) leads a quartet of red and silver warbonnet units including a pair of 5-year-old GP60M's spliced by a pair of cabless GP60B booster units as they work a Los Angeles bound piggyback train up the east side of Cajon pass at Lugo, CA. Again access to this location was available by Summit Valley Road off of CA 138 a little east of Summit at Cajon Pass. Google street view covers Summit Valley Road; the signal visible in this photo have been replaced by signals cantilevered out over the tracks since 1994.
