EL GP7 Roster Shotex-DL&W "Torpedo Boat" GP7 (built for passenger service) rests on a lead off the turntable at the D&H Bevier St roundhouse (this was the Dereco era when N&W owned both EL & D&H - at arm's length). If I understand correctly, moving the air reservoirs to the roof (as opposed to the conventional placement next to the fuel and water tanks) permitted the fuel tank and water tank for the steam generator to have larger capacity. Also note the odd placement and hyphenation of the maroon "Erie-Lackawanna" lettering above the maroon band on the hood. Ultimately 1409 would get a repaint that would place yellow unhyphenated lettering in the maroon band (see next photo of EL SD45s).
