Espee Trains Meet at Mohawk, AZ

A westbound double stack train led by SP 9727 (GP60) holds the main at Mohawk, AZ as it meets an eastbound in the siding. Note that one of the headend crew is on the ground to inspect the westbound in the old traditional manner. That's I 8 crossing over the train in the distance; I exited on old US 80 to reach this photo location.
I was warned by a helpful Espee trainman at a location similar to this, if not by the trainman here, to be on the lookout for rattlesnakes while photographing along this line.
